Recreational Equipment, Inc. (REI) has provided us with a great training regimen to prepare our bodies for the rigors of hiking through the snow.
If you intend to head out into the backcountry, you need to be physically ready ahead of time for the strain it is going to put on your body. If you go out unprepared, you could find yourself in a survival situation instead of enjoying the ride down the mountain.
