(ModernSurvival.org) – The coronavirus is big news around the world, and the fallout from the virus is just beginning.
Coronavirus threatens U.S. companies’ supply of Chinese-made parts and materials https://t.co/iHK6SKc9jZ

As airlines begin to restrict flights from China in an effort to contain the virus, manufacturers like General Electric and Caterpillar are no longer able to get parts they need on their production lines.
This blockage in the flow of goods isn’t only going to affect big manufacturers, either — everyone depending on items from Chinese factories is going to be in limbo until the quarantine is lifted.
So what does this mean for us survivalists? For one, this proves that preparing to survive on our own isn’t as crazy as some people believe. For those of us who are ready for scenarios like this, losing access to goods from China is an inconvenience rather than a panic-inducing event.
