(Modern Survival.org) – China has already been largely scrutinized by nations around the world for its handling of the coronavirus. The communist country’s lack of regulations and safety measures make it easy for illnesses to occur. That’s why it’s no surprise that yet another disease has been found in China, COVID 2.0?

Thousands of residents within China’s Lanzhou city were exposed to an animal-borne bacterial disease. The disease, known as brucellosis, can be highly contagious and treatment can be difficult. Residents were exposed to the disease via contaminated exhaust from the state-owned Lanzhou Biopharmaceutical Plant. Symptoms of brucellosis include:
- Severe headaches
- Joint pain
- Recurring fever
The disease can have other symptoms, possibly lasting years.
Hopefully, China can do a better job of containing this illness than they did the coronavirus — or at least be more transparent about it. Although human-to-human transmission of brucellosis is rare, it can happen, and we don’t need another disease sweeping the globe and causing economies to shut down.
Just in case, you should double check your preps, get any supplies you’re low on, and be ready to hunker down. If a second disease causes more shutdowns, people are likely to go crazier than they did the first time; be ready and prepared to the best of your ability.
